Partner – Spark for Growth

Almost everything I do stems from a belief and hope that it has to be possible to work together in a way that together we improve our impact and wellbeing. I am convinced that anybody and everybody has growth potential if we can help each other find the optimum conditions to do so.

Combining a belief in positive psychology with a knack for structure and synthesis, I take an affirmative, pragmatic approach to team effectiveness and personal growth – always seeking the optimum between ‘shooting for the moon’ and ‘acknowledging and building on what is here’. Together with my clients I encourage the alternation of ‘taking a balcony view to reflect on recurring patterns and directions’ and ‘stepping onto the dance floor to take action’.

Finding that balance requires for all involved to engage in a conversation where we let go of dogmas and defences, showing up as we are and being genuinely interested in each other’s perspectives. For me this about balancing self-confidence in our strengths and views, and at the same time recognizing that other – sometimes conflicting perspectives – can help us grow.
Epictetus’ insight that ‘we cannot learn what we think we already know’ is a personal favorite – and ongoing reminder.
