Interpersonal Skills

Interpersonal skills are increasingly at the core everything that we do. As our work in a fast-paced environment becomes increasingly digital and virtual, humanizing our interactions needs to be more intentional and more skilled. Our ability to develop and sustain effective, constructive relationships is what helps us create outcomes that are bigger than ourselves.

Influencing with Integrity

Leadership means inspiring and engaging others to follow your lead. Influencing is key to you achieving success. Developing an understanding of how to read situations and build trust-based relationships with people will help you be able to do so effectively.

We believe that personal awareness is fundamental in being able to apply the necessary skill for inspiring and influencing. Only if you understand your own behaviors and mindsets, will you be able to manage and shift those of others.

In this 1-day program we help you develop and strengthen your influencing skills. You will gain an understanding which influencing tactics you tend to use most, and where you will be able to improve.

Coping with conflict, Spark for Growth, Spark Network

Coping with Conflict

Conflict happens all the time. There is more to conflict than big fights or confrontations that keep you awake at nights. Conflict is also defined by multiple perspectives, dispersing agenda’s, different emotional responses and all other situations where there is a sense of misalignment that needs resolving.

Artificial harmony is the outcome when conflict is not resolved. It is often covert. Everybody can sense it, but no one speaks up. Artificial harmony leads to a lack of commitment, low standards and therefore low performance.

In this 1-day program an assessment will help you understand how you naturally respond to conflict. You will learn ways of recognizing and resolving conflict, and will help you develop skills to deepen relationships.

Learn to Coach

Any manager or leader is a coach. If you delegate work to others, you will find yourself giving them feedback on the output. And you will ask them to step up and grow in their capabilities. You will need to create the environment in which people feel they are able to develop their skills and grow in their roles.

Great coaching is when people dare to develop quickly. Appreciative inquiry and a growth mindset create the curiosity that unleashes courage to step up and develop new skills. As a leader you need to listen deeply and understand how to remove the obstacles that hold people back from being courageous to do new things.

In this 1-day program you will hone your emotional intelligence skills and develop a stronger awareness of how your mindsets and behaviors influence how others develop, either positively or negatively. You will learn to build personal rapport and to give feedforward in such a way to create that thriving environment.
