I started life as a musician: a saxophone player and teacher. In the 1980s I found myself leading a music school in the Netherlands. That experience sparked a lifelong fascination with the practice of leadership.
In my journey from musician and educator to corporate coach/trainer I have been privileged to work with many leaders from frontline team-leads to senior executives. I’m still in awe of the power of vision and commitment.
I’ve learned that the world needs leaders who can listen, self-reflect, communicate and persevere. Leaders who can build great teams, articulate a powerful vision and inspire others to bring it into existence.
In my work I help leaders clarify their purpose, face their challenges and build the skills they need. And I still play saxophone whenever I can!
