I studied literature as an undergraduate and was drawn to the exploration of the inner world where unknown forces and motivations drive the drama. Our stories, both personal and organisational, can lead us to make choices that don’t meet the needs of the context in which we find ourselves. How great it’s been therefore to be able to facilitate teams and individuals to both unravel, clarify and reshape the purpose and structure of the work that they are engaged in.
My work has spanned private and public sector organisations, individuals both at the start of their careers as well as those people leading organisations through challenging change. I have developed a particular interest in helping leadership teams to think more effectively together, both through utilising tools that help us to understand the complex systems in which we have to operate and also to develop our skills and willingness to listen to other perspectives.
I have finally acknowledged my own need to write and am currently writing my first play.
