I engage directly with leaders and professionals as partner, facilitator and coach – with enthusiasm, focus and empathy. I am endlessly optimistic about human potential and seek to help others bring the best of themselves to their organisations. My close colleagues, friends and clients know me as great encourager who strives to create the conditions where people can stop long enough, to think hard enough so they can return better enabled to their workplace responsibilities I am really switched on by helping leaders re-imagine their dilemas as opportunities to change, engage and motivate – whilst remaining both agile and pragmatic.

In recent years I’ve become more and more convinced that clarity of purpose and an understanding of how the ‘why’ becomes the ‘what’ is essential to create motivation and energy at all levels. Leaders who recognise this spread engagement as role models wherever they operate in their organisations
In response to any dilemma I am always ready to bring an appropriate balance of challenge (by asking the crucial questions) and support (by listening hard) to help leaders both help themselves and encourage others to join them on their journeys. Purposeful people always bring more of themselves to their work and all their professional relationships. They are then confident to thrive – offering their unique contributions and tapping into the diversity of others.

I have benefitted considerably from working both in a scientific and technical environment and in leadership and professional development. This enables me to bring both rigour and considerate awareness in all my assignments – whether consulting to help create solutions, or in direct engagements with people in organisations as challenges are taken on and new approaches accelerate progress.
